Tenuta Sette Ponti’s Crognolo is made from the best selection of Sangiovese from vineyards in Tuscany located on draining, pebbly and rich in schist, which gives great structure, minerality and longevity.
The intense ruby red colour is a prelude to an intense and complex nose, rich in red ripe fruit such as cherries and berries, floral notes like violet, aromatic herbs and spicy notes, which give class and elegance.
The wine is full-bodied and soft with excellent ageing capabilities.

A firm and chewy young wine with chestnut, chocolate and oyster shell character. A blackberry undertone. Full body, polished and fresh. Drink now or hold in your cellar.

Sangiovese and Merlot make up the 2015 Crognolo. The wine shows a dark appearance followed by long, flowing aromas of black fruit, spice and leather. This is a robust and nicely layered red blend that would stand up to meat roasts or lamb shanks. The wine is smooth and pleasing in texture. It drinks very nicely straight out of the gate.

Fresh and enticing, with cherry, raspberry, tobacco and spice flavours. Firms up on the finish, where vegetal accents and tannins linger. Sangiovese and Merlot. Drink now through 2023. 7,500 cases made.
