Pian dell'Orino's Piandorino comes from younger vines ageing from 8 to 17 years-old. Fermented with natural yeast and aged in 12,5 hl oak barrel.
The 2015 Piandorino's aromas of juicy cherries, cranberries and plum aromas are accompanied by earth, wild herbs, hint of tobacco and smokey wood, spices such as cinnamon and clove. This is a great introduction to the exceptional wines of Caroline Pobitzer and Jan-Hendrick Erbacher of Pian Dell'Orino.

Entry-level wines should all aspire to this. The 2015 Piandorino exhibits delicate floral notes with violets and wild cherries backed by delicate earthy tones. Fruit for this wine comes from the youngest vines that are planted in thick clay soils. This wine is fine and beautifully delicate on the finish. Only 3,000 bottles were made.
