Paitin Barbaresco Sori Paitin Serraboella 2015

One of the oldest Barbaresco producers Paitin's Barbaresco Sori Serraboella 2015 was on Wine Spectator Insider's "Hot Wines" in January 23rd issue featuring the most exciting discoveries from their editor's most recent tastings. It is exciting to see this Paitin wine among Grange 2014, Armand Rousseau, Olivier Bernstein and Drouhin Laroze in the same list for a fraction of their prices. Definitely, a wine that shouldn't be missed from this great 2015 vintage.

Sweet cherry and strawberry fruit is framed by earth, eucalyptus, tobacco and tar notes in this rich yet firm red. The assertive tannins suggest a glacial evolution but the lasting impression of fruit shows this wine's potential.
