Domaine Faiveley, Clos du Roy 1er Cru, Burgundy, France 2015

On the nose, scents of strawberries mix pleasantly with spicy and woody aromas, which come from the wine being matured traditionally in oak. This wine is very nicely balanced on the palate. Its rich juicy palate blends perfectly with its tannins, giving a wine full of body. Produced around 1,400 cases.

(for 2014) Julia Harding for Jancis Robinson, 16,5 Points
Mid cherry red. Bags of deep red fruit here, just a touch spicy. Definite but rounded tannins, with just a slight chew and harmonious freshness at the end."
