Chene Bleu Le Rosé 2018 Rhone

Chene Bleu Le Rosé is a perfumed, beautiful pale pink colour Rosé. Made from the blend of Grenache and Syrah, it is fresh but with a structure. Finely textured, rich and intense. Notes of raspberry and redcurrant mixed with touches of grapefruit and lime and hints of floral notes. This is a seriously made rich and elegant Rose.

There's more to the 2017 IGP Vaucluse Le Rose than attractive forward fruit, so it should drink well through the end of next year. Subtle strawberry, peach and melon notes are delivered on a medium-bodied, silky-textured palate and a long finish. A fifth of this blend of Grenache (65%), Syrah (13%), Rolle (12%), Cinsault (5%) and Mourvèdre (5%) was fermented and aged in used demi-muids, no doubt adding to the textural element on the palate.
